Through a coordinated provincial approach, Manitoba eHealth is working with health care professionals to plan, design and build the necessary systems that will lead to a provincial electronic health record.

Each project contributes to improved quality, access and timeliness of health care for Manitobans. A more technologically advanced work environment also supports the recruitment and retention of health care professionals.

In a short amount of time, we have already introduced and completed many projects that have helped to lay the foundation for our goal of a provincial electronic health record. Manitoba has taken a major step forward toward the creation of a provincial information and communications technology (ICT) solution.
