Roger Girard and Liz Loewen were proud to present Dr. Ray Postuma with the organization’s first eHealth Champion award at the 2010 Manitoba eHealth Conference on October 26, 2010.

Dr. Postuma was chosen for his vision for information and knowledge at the point of care and particularly for his contributions to telehealth both provincially and nationally. In addition to his career as a paediatric surgeon, Dr. Postuma served as the founding medical director for the MBTelehelath Network and remains a standing member of the provincial strategy and investment committee. Dr. Postuma continues to champion ehealth and mentor clinicians about the benefits of integrating technologies into their practice.

The eHealth Champion award recognizes the contributions and leadership of recipients and the vital role they play in supporting information and communication technology in Manitoba.
