The Manitoba Physician Peer-to-Peer Network is a resource for physicians looking to improve the management of patient care with an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
Physician Peer Leaders act as mentors and advisors. They can answer your questions or direct you to specialized resources about adopting an EMR system. Peer leaders can offer advice and assist with:
- Selecting a vendor
- Acquiring products and materials
- Implementation
- Using EMRs in a practice setting
- Benefits of an EMR
- Arranging visits to practices operating with EMR systems
The program is funded by Canada Health Infoway and operated by Manitoba eHealth.
