Computer Training Solutions develops and designs their courses in-house. The content is tailored to health care employees, and covers a wide range of desktop applications. All Microsoft Office training uses Microsoft Office 2003. CTS can also assist with project based and customized training, please contact us for more information on these services.
Students should have manager approval before registering for a course.
Open Courses
Open courses are available to any employee of the WRHA. Students with little or no computer experience should start with the Windows - Level 1 & 2 courses.
Specialty courses require specialized software or skills. These courses are for WRHA employees that either have or will be using the software. Students wanting to evaluate the software for use in their department may also take these courses, all prerequisites must be met.
These courses are not offered on our calendar, and are only available by request. Please contact us if there is a course that you or your department is interested in.
CTS does require that all course prerequisites are met prior to taking a course, or that the student have the equivalent knowledge. We do recommend that students allow time between each level to apply and practise the skills taught. Please click on a course name to view the course outline and curriculum.
Most courses are offered in half or one day formats and start at 8:30 a.m.
