A learning management system is a software application for the administration, documentation, tracking, and reporting of instructor-led and online courses. The system is available from any computer with an internet connection. Who is it for? Manitoba eHealth and Winnipeg Health Region staff can access the system now. When creating your LMS Account, it is very important that you correctly enter whom you work for and the location you work at. Course catalogues differ by region and area initially selected. If you enter the wrong region, you will not see all the courses that are available for you to take. Regions: Manitoba eHealth – For all people employed by Manitoba eHealth including contractors. If you have a Manitoba eHealth email address, you should be selecting this region. WRHA – For all WRHA employees, including those working in personal care homes, clinics and other groups. programs or sites funded by the WRHA. This also includes WRHA staff seconded to Manitoba eHealth projects. Non-RHA – For all employees working with groups, programs or at sites that are not part of the WRHA. This includes CancerCare Manitoba employees. What is available? Registration for all CTS instructor-led classes will now take place in the LMS. Individual Online Microsoft Office 2003 & 2010 courses are now available in the Microsoft Online Training Catalog! All other Online Microsoft Office courses are also available in a Microsoft eLearning Bundle. Other online courses will be made available as they are developed, including clinical care, clinical software and admin/HR courses. WRHA Organizational & Staff Development is planning to use the LMS for their registrations in the near future. What do you need?
