“Leading in Difficult and
Challenging Times”
Thursday, October 29, 2009
Winnipeg Convention Centre
The Value of Information:
Driving Improvements in Quality, Safety and Sustainability
The first Manitoba eHealth conference was a success as registration hit capacity and attendees from across the province took in sessions that focused on how information and technology continue to enable the health care system to serve patients in a changing world.
The conference theme was “Leading in difficult and challenging times.” More than 20 speakers from across the province and country shared their experiences and discussed the challenges of implementing Information Systems solutions.
In addition to the speaker sessions, eight eHealth projects set up booths to explain some of the current initiatives being implemented in the province. From home care scheduling to the provincial electronic health record, there was no shortage of interesting information available on the challenging electronic transformation of health care.
For copies of each session's presentation, please go to the Programs-at-a-Glance page.
